DESCRIPTION:Our market community includes 35 locally owned small businesses, so it makes sense that Small Business Saturday is one of our favorite days of the year. Here’s what’s planned:\nSmall Business Saturday VIP Shopping Event, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.\nWe’re opening early for some a.m. shopping at our wonderful boutiques, and we’ll have a special VIP gift bag for the first customers who sign up ( https://www.eventbrite.com/e/vip-early-bird-shopping-edgewater-public-market-small-business-saturday-tickets-472691682547 ). Some of our food and beverage businesses are opening early, too, so you can shop and eat and drink ’til ya drop. Sign up here!\nValdez Elementary Christmas Tree Sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\nOur friends at Valdez Elementary School are selling fresh and beautiful Christmas trees on our grassy lawn from Friday, November 25, to Sunday, November 27. All proceeds go directly to the school.\nThe Giving Tree, all day\nOur annual Giving Tree is back this year starting on Small Business Saturday. Through this program, generous friends and neighbors (like you!) visit the tree, grab a gift tag for a person in need, and use the info on that tag to purchase a holiday gift for that human. Through this program, we collect 500 gifts for people in need—clients of the Denver Housing Authority, and local school kids through the Optimist Club—and obviously we couldn’t do this without your help.\nStay tuned for more details and activations on Small Business Saturday!\n \n
