Edgewater Pride Party
Saturday, June 6, 10:30 a.m.
We are thrilled to host the Edgewater Pride Party once again this year!
The day begins with the Edgewater Pride Parade at 10:30 a.m.
The parade ends at Edgewater Public Market around 11 a.m.
The day’s festivities will include:
– live tunes from Guerilla Fanfare brass band from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
– pop-up booths from civic groups and Edgewater Public Market vendors from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– drag queen visitors to the market, including local sensation Jessica L’Whor, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Several Edgewater Public Market businesses are offering specials and featured products inspired by Pride, including:
– Edgewater Books will donate 10% of the day’s sales to Edgewater Pride; their pop-up shop at our Pride market will offer free Pride accessories, and they’ll have their typically robust selection of LGBTQ+ literature for sale.
– The Tangled Ball will donate 10% of the day’s sales to The Center.
– Konjo Ethiopian will give a free Pride cupcake to the first 120 people who swing by their counter on June 6.
– Olive Patina is planning several Pride-themed giveaways; to be entered, make a purchase from their shop on June 6. CC Oddities by Cera and Dutsu’s Palace will pop-up at Olive Patina’s outdoor shop; Dutsu’s is donating 20% of the day’s sales to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
– Happy Cones will offer free rainbow sprinkles with any ice cream purchase during the Pride party.
– Landfall Floral will offer a rainbow mini wrapped bouquet or a rainbow mini dried bouquet for $25.
– Bibamba Chocolate will give out a free truffle or bon bon with any chocolate purchase of $15 or more. They’re also creating a special rainbow confection inspired by Pride.
