From Cameroon to Denver: A Chocolate Tasting at Bibamba
March 26, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
at Bibamba Chocolate inside Edgewater Public Market
Celebrate the richness of Francophone culture with the Alliance Française de Denver!
Taste and hear the story of Bibamba, a chocolate venture connecting roots in America and Africa. Since 2015, Bibamba has cultivated cacao, coffee, and plantains in Cameroon, blending sustainable farming with artisanal craft. Their first harvest in 2020 inspired three original dark chocolate bark recipes, perfected with Colorado artisans.
As part of the Month of Francophonie, join Patrick Tcheunou, Bibamba’s founder, for an engaging presentation on their journey from farm to chocolate bar, followed by a tasting of their premium, all-natural chocolates made in Denver. Afterward, continue the conversation and enjoy an apéro in French at Edgewater Public Market (drinks and bites on your own; chocolate tasting included in ticket).
Savor the flavors, celebrate Francophone heritage, and connect with community in one unforgettable evening!
