Trivia begins at 7 p.m., but tables at Barquentine are first come, first served, so plan on showing up early to make sure you and your team have a spot. (We had a full house for our first Heated Rivalry trivia night!)
All questions will be based around Heated Rivalry: the show, the books, the fandom. We’ll have prizes for the winners, including goodies from Barquentine Brewing, Olive Patina, Edgewater Books, Konjo Ethiopian, Syrup, Slideshow Sliders, Landfall Floral Co., True Grit Grooming, Roger’s Liquid Oasis, Bibamba Chocolate, Happy Cones, The Ink Den Tattoo Studio, and the Colorado Avalanche!
Maximum of four people per team. If you’ve got a bigger group, that’s great — just plan on dividing up into smaller teams once you get here.
Barquentine has wine, beer, cocktails, and spirit-free drinks for sale, and you’re welcome to bring food from any Edgewater Public Market vendors into Barquentine. Please plan on purchasing something from Barquentine if you are attending; they’re a locally owned small biz and we want them to keep letting us host Heated Rivalry events! đŸ™‚
Also, please consider making a $5 donation to Edgewater Pride. They’re a hyper-local nonprofit based here in Edgewater, and they host the annual Edgewater Pride parade—this year, on Saturday, June 6. (That bold sentence is a hyperlink. We’ll have QR codes on site for Edgewater Pride, too.)
Edgewater Books carries the Heated Rivalry series. If you haven’t read them, swing through to brush up before March 12, or purchase them the night of trivia! Edgewater Books and Olive Patina are hosting a Heated Rivalry trivia pop-up shop the night of this event.
