The Giving Tree
Our annual Giving Tree is back! It’s a wonderful opportunity for those who can to help others this holiday season. Here’s how it works:
1. Visit the Giving Tree at Edgewater Public Market.
2. Pick a tag or two from the tree. Each tag shares the info of a person in need of some holiday cheer, via our nonprofit partners Denver Housing Authority and the Wheat Ridge Optimist Club.
3. Purchase a gift for the person named on your tag. Plan on spending around $25 per gift.
4. Return your gift to Edgewater Public Market:
If you took a tag from Wheat Ridge Optimist Club, return the gift(s) you buy, unwrapped, before Thursday, December 5. Be sure to securely attach the gift tag to the gift.
If you took a tag from Denver Housing Authority, return the gift(s) you buy, wrapped, before Sunday, December 15. Be sure to securely attach the gift tag to the gift.
Through this program, we’ve provided gifts to 600+ people in need each year for the past four years. (That’s well over 1,000 gifts!) That’s thanks to all of YOU, so thank you, friends. Let’s do it again!
